"very near to victoria cross metro, making it simple to go into town. however, do note that it is in the office area.
However, big gripe is that the rooms are very dusty. hotel shld improve on that! no toothbrush as well, tried to request via app but didnt work..

"My stay at Meriton Suites Chatswood in Sydney was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, right near Chatswood train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting to the city center or surrounding areas. The room was spacious and clean, with complete amenities including a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer – perfect for long stays or families. The view from the window was expansive, offering cityscapes that were beautiful, especially at night.
The front desk service was warm and professional; both check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were happy to answer all questions. The hotel's cleaning was excellent, maintaining a very clean and comfortable environment throughout my stay.
In summary, this is a highly cost-effective apartment hotel, ideal for both leisure and business travelers. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sydney."

"Customer Service is amazing. Everyone I met is amazing, including front desk, in room dining, and bars at levels 3 and 29.
We enjoyed fireworks with desserts and cocktails at Bar in level 3. It was a great experience indeed.
The hotel room is very spacious, and the bed is very comfortable.
The only downside is the indoor poolthe water is so cold."

"The room is spacious and we can enjoy breakfast in the living room every morning before heading out!
They allowed us to check-in early since there is available room. Also, the location is so nice, around 5 mins walk to the Woolworths Supermarket and the Train station. This is the second time I stay with them, and I will definitely stay again when I visit Sydney."

The bathrooms are shared, and they offer luggage storage. The management is strict, ensuring a clean and safe environment. "The hotel is conveniently located right next to Sydney Airport's T1 terminal and very close to the bus station for Canberra, making commuting super easy. We also visited Victoria Shopping Centre and the Opera House, which were lovely. The rooms were clean and hygienic, with separate wet and dry areas, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and all the front desk staff were polite and offered service with a smile. Overall, we were very satisfied."

"Facilities: The two-bedroom suite we occupied was very well-equipped. It featured a full kitchen with a dishwasher and stove, a washing machine and dryer, and a coffee machine. If you happen to run out of coffee capsules, you can simply ask the front desk for more.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was decent. They provide a light cleaning service and trash collection every three days. The only drawback was the bedding arrangement: the duvet was merely two sheets sandwiched together, which meant it inevitably got completely messy and tangled after just one night's sleep.
Service: As for service, this type of apartment offers very little, functioning more like a temporary home where guests are expected to purchase their own groceries and supplies for daily living."

"Excellent location close to metro and train. Close to many restaurants and shopping.
Room size is excellent with nice layouts and service is excelletnt as well.
Offer a nice free coffee bar in the moning at the lobby.
The only draw back we found is the washing/dryer machine in our unit is very dirty. Plus the program to wash and dry takes over 4 hours which is way longer than it should be."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a subway station conveniently situated right across the street and numerous attractions nearby. The lobby is quite grand. However, the view from our room was unfortunately obstructed by trees, leading to poor visibility and diminishing the supposed advantage of a park-view room. Breakfast was lavish, featuring a self-service station for fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Overall, the service was decent. But we had a very frustrating experience: during morning check-out, an elderly person in our group accidentally left a public transport card tucked inside their room key. When we returned in the evening to look for it, we received no help whatsoever. Their staff proved inflexible and unhelpful, especially when confronted with an urgent issue."

RR Katy YMy family of 3 checked in early around noon. We stayed at a lovely 1 bedroom apartment on e 2nd level with a balcony which overlooks e street below. Apartment was spacious, amenities provided were sufficient though one could request for more when necessary.
What we loved best was e location which was so convenient for us to check out different places of Sydney. We ended up walking to our destinations most of e time while enjoying e weather and scenery. There was ample food choices all around e hotel too. Apart from a busier and noisier street during e weekend, which usually dies down by midnight, my family and I had a great stay in Rydges.

KKatyExcellent location - extremely convenient. Quick and easy to get everywhere thanks to proximity to the light rail, along with being walking distance from darling harbour. Unfortunately the hotel messed up our booking and there was no family room available upon our arrival but we were upgraded to a suite which was great. A shame we had to wait until 3pm to check in which is rather late in comparison to most hotels. The room itself was clean and tidy though I would say not really ‘4 star’. Overall it was a solid stay for our family of three but I would suggest the hotel is being a little cheeky with their ‘suggestion’ that room cleaning only happens every 4 days- I want my rubbish cleaned out every day thankyou!

GGuest UserIn short, Pullman Hyde Park Sydney is a great hotel with a gym and pool that offer good views. The rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for accessing all the famous tourist spots.
We stayed for 5 nights at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney in mid-May. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM, which was earlier than the scheduled check-in time. We requested an early check-in at the concierge; however, we were informed that no rooms were available until 1 PM. This was understandable, given our early arrival.
While waiting, we appreciated the water dispenser and snacks available for guests. One downside was that the hotel had only three lifts, which were insufficient for the number of guests. One lift even broke down, and the other two were quite slow.
We booked a Superior King Room with a Hyde Park view, which was lovely. The room was clean, with no odors or stains. However, our first room was missing disposable slippers and had a broken phone. The staff quickly sent a technician and arranged for us to move to a higher floor with a functioning phone. They were responsive, but we had to move our luggage ourselves, as they were unable to assist with that. (It was around 6pm so they may be short-staffed at that moment.)
We spent some time at the gym, but unfortunately, the drinking water ran out around 6 PM. We called the concierge to have it replenished, but no one arrived by the time we left. The pool was decent, and there was also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was located right next to the gym and in front of the glass entrance, so anyone coming out of the elevator could see you enjoying it, which may or may not be a concern for some guests. A highlight was running on the treadmill while enjoying the stunning sunset over the city skyline—it was spectacular.
The location was fantastic! The major bus stops were just a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi Beach, Central Station, and Darling Harbour .etc. It was also only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, which made exploring the area very convenient.
Overall, while I believe there are cheaper options with similar location advantages, the cleanliness at Pullman Hyde Park was notably better than those alternatives.

GGuest UserUnfortunately bad experience because no internet inside the room, so I go back to the reception to ask for a fly box, night time the battery is dead so I asked again the reception, one of them she gave me a bad charger so I went third time to ask to change my room, and their attitude was so bad, looks like I did a crime, it was Avery bad experience, never happen to me in any other hotel

The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.
